Managing rides and drivers without calendar conflicts

This is DriverLogic, the ride and driver booking system for Simoldes

Managing rides and drivers without calendar conflicts

Simoldes is the number one mold manufacturer in Europe for the automotive industry. With over 23+ production units across 13 countries, this group has more than 6000 employees and a lot of drivers for picking-up and dropping-off employees, clients, VIPs, etc, on a daily basis. Simoldes introduced Procimo to a common problem manifested across all this production units: the drivers were having conflicted events in their office calendars - since they all shared the same calendar to manage their services, even booking rides for other drivers. Working with the CTO Team for this multi-billion dollar group, we helped launch their new ride booking system as an MVP web app. As the collaboration continued, we are currently through a platform evolution (Naming, Identity, Visual Language) and extended this out to all user touchpoints, allowing the service to be seen as agile and approachable. Once the MVP web app was successfully adopted, we started developing more features that tracks cars, drivers' licenses, car borrowing requests, fleet management, real-time location like Uber as a hailing service. This required a deep-dive into Persona Development, User Journeys, UX/UI Design, and Rapid/Functional Prototyping (working with internal Devs). Simoldes now manages seamlessly and hassle-free this internal ride service.
